1. The first thing to do is to download the latest vs. of Cutenews, you can do that at Cutephp.com

2. Then you must unzip the file with WinRar or Winzip - Click Here to read the tutorial on how to upzip files.

3. Once you have unzipped the file a browser should come up with different folders ect.

4. Make a cutenews folder on your FTP server.

5. Download all the files in the correct folders. This is very important. You must put the files in the right folders.

6. When you have uploaded all the files you have to CHMOD the properties to 777. You might want to check what the correct permissions are for you site through your host. I know that my other host, Celebfans, that 644 is the correct permissions for files, and 755 for directories. So check with your host, because sometimes CHMODing all the files to 777 can cause an internal error. (sorry if that was confusing, I'm trying to explain)

7. Now go to your cutenews homepage - example: http://yoursite.com/cutenews or http://yoursite.com/updates

8. Click Proceed Installation and then the second page will tell you if the files have the right permissions or the wrong permissions.

9. The next page should be the Important Configurations page. This page is pretty straight forward. Just fill out the form, and click Proceed Installation

10. Now, login to cutenews with the username and password you have just assigned for it.

And your done!
